This sculpture aims to represent the ultimate end and current depiction of global warming on the melting ice caps.

Designed on illustrator, this sculpture has 341 individual pieces on 80 layers that were lasercut on 3mm MDF board. It took 25 hours to cut all the pieces before the sculpture was sanded, painted and filled with 24 liters of resin.

The process to design this sculpture also included cutting a experimental sculpture on cardboard to analyse any possible mistakes and view the piece as a 1:1 model.
